Wedding Invitation: Indian Traditional

My first clients for the year were Shanelle and Jarad. They got engaged and planned their wedding date for a bit more than a month after! What made it an especially tight deadline was the fact that they needed to get to India asap to start putting things in place for their special day in Goa, India.

The wedding is this coming weekend and will be a traditional Hindu Indian ceremony on the beach at the grandiose Ramada Hotel. I chose to use a rich gold paper to reflect the beach sand at sunset and Shanelle asked for the symbol of the “Ganesha” – Remover of Obstacles…a very wise choice for one’s foresight into marriage wouldn’t you say?

My favourite part of this invitation is the wording: “Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same”.
